Bonnie and Cylde the Seahorse Pair.

We found a wild pair of frilly seahorses (Hippocampus erectus) at our local fish store. Typically the fish store only carry seahorse during the summer months. Our plan was to wait until next summer to find Lois and Lucy (Hippocampus reidi) mates, since Bonnie and Clyde are mated pairs we decided to grow the tank a little earlier than planned.

This is Clyde the big stallion.

We have had Bonnie and Clyde for a few days. We can hand feed Clyde, but Bonnie seems to want to hunt on her own and is often hanging out in the rock work. We will probably remove a few of the larger rocks to give more room for sea grass and micro algae.
